Very good solution to the bag weighing problem. Nice and small, so easy to store. Recommended! (Remember you have to lift the bag to weigh it, so this is not for the elderly or arthritic).

I found this luggage scale worked as advertised. It is a bit bulky but manageable. It also seems to prefer to weigh in KG rather than pounds but you soon become used to watching for that.

The scale saved a bit of consternation for my husband. Husband traveling back East for an extended work stay. He needed to take with him quite a bit for his one month stay. He used the scale to make sure he wasn’t over the 50 lb limit. The scale read 48 lbs and when he went to the airport & checked in baggage the airport scale also stated 48 lbs. This is a great gadget for the price.

We gave the digital luggage scale to our son and family as a stocking stuffer. They used it on their return flight after visiting us. With her approval, we attached the Balanzza to her suitcase. Turn it on, and then lift. In a matter of seconds we got a reading of 37.1lbs. We then put Allison’s bag on a scale that the airlines use. You can find it right next the ticket counter.
It shows her bag weighing 39lbs. Remember, the Balanzza came up with 37lbs, a difference of just 2lbs. “Wow, I was impressed. I would have thought it was heavier,” Allison said. So what does this frequent flier think of the Balanzza? Time for Allison to weigh in, “I would call it a deal.”

Pros, Cons, and Final Thoughts
There’s not much that I can find at fault with the Balanzza Ergo. I like how the battery is replaceable and not a built-in thing, because it makes this a lot easier to swap when you run out of juice. The display is simple, but effective, as are the three buttons used as the interface.
The Balanzza Ergo Digital Luggage Scale is not the sexiest product on the market, but it is a very useful gadget for travelers who tend to pack on a few more pounds (I’m talking luggage, not your waistline) during the holidays.
