The Pacsafe CarrySafe 300  lockable shoulder strap by PacSafe is the only after-market replacement shoulder strap for your existing camera, computer, or other portable carry bag.

You won't find any of other replacement carry strap on the market today that provides these security features.  If your bag has a shoulder or carry strap that detaches, then this CarrySafe security replacement strap will work for you.   The CarrySafe 300 has three unique security features that allows you to convert your existing bag to a bag with security anti-theft features.  

CarrySafe 300 Strap Combination Lock Prevents Grab and Run Thefts 

Simply unhook your existing strap from the bags "D" or "O" rings that are attached to the bag.  Replace the the one side of the bag with the tamperproof, screw-down, fastening metal nut fastener.  This fastener is locked down to the existing bag with the locking lug wrench (included). 

The other side of the CarrySafe 300's strap has a built-in 3 dial metal combination lock which is permanently attached to the strap with a steel "D" ring. The lock which is used to secure the carabiner type locking device to the other end of your bag.  Simply unhook the carabiner device from the end of your bag, pass the strap around or through a secure item such as a chair, pole, car seat track, and reattach the strap.  Your bag cannot be easily picked up without unlocking the lock.

What good is a bag that can't be stolen if you can simply unzip it and remove its contents.  The Carry Safe 300 takes care of that issue also.  The CarrySafe 300 is the only replacement shoulder strap that has the patented "zipper security lock" feature.

Built into the three-dial combination lock is an optional use four inch long wire cable.  To use, push the two zipper pulls together at the end of the bag (next to where the security strap attaches to the bag).  One the zipper pulls are close to the strap, feed the end of the security cable through both zipper pulls, then back into the special locking port on the side of the combination lock.  The contents of the bag are now secure.

Cut and Run Theft Reduction

Do you carry your bag in high theft or street crime areas where cut and run thefts are a problem?  The Carrysafe 300 has a steel wire cables woven into each side of the CarrySafe straps.  The cables are woven into the entire length of the straps, on both sides.  The inclusion of these steel wires makes it almost impossible to put the straps from behind.  Additionally, these straps provide extra strength and support of the items being carried in the bag.

The steel wires embedded into the CarrySafe 300 are 1.5 mm 7x7 high-tensile stainless steel wire (seven strands and each strand comprises of seven wires) and are woven between the top and bottom layers of the straps outer material. The steel wire is strong, but flexible enough so that they are not detectable when worn.

The CarrySafe 300 security camera strap has two slip adjusters which allow the camera strap to be adjusted up to 50 inches.  Additionally, the camera connectors have slip adjusters which limits the amount of play between the camera strap connectors.

Camera Connection Connectors

The CarrySafe 300 includes an innovative secondary security feature into the security camera strap. At the ends of each strap are screw-down metal fastening nuts for additional security. 

These connectors are made user-friendly quick-release type, which allow the strap to hook around a secure fixture to

prevent theft when not around your neck.   These connectors adapt to all types of cameras/binoculars with both square loop and round loop connectors.               

The security engineered connectors are made from a hardened zinc alloy which is powder coated to make them scratch resistant. 

Quick Release Anti-Snatch Clip

Many times you need to set your case/bag down for a moment to grab a cup of coffee or take a quick shot.  In those situations, you are provided a qucik security solution by simply employing the quick release lock which is built into the attached combination lock.  This quick release lock will help stops someone else from picking up your camera, even if you are momentarily distracted.  Thieves use this technique to steal women’s purses too (however PacSafe has designed a purse line with the same security feature – see CitySafe 100 for info).
