The Console Vault High Security Portable Briefcase Safe
A unique security solution that was originally designed with the military and law enforcement professional in mind. Originally designed for a goverment agency who needed a true portable safe, this safe is used extensively by many local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. This portable briefcase safe is now available to the general public, and typically used to safeguard handguns, critical evidence, electronics, sensitive documents, jewelry, or other valuables.
The interior base is lined with convoluted foam and the lid has a one fourth inch high density closed cell foam, this foam design keeps heavy items from moving while being transported.

The safe comes with a 36" vinyl coated steel cable that has a fitting that attaches inside the case when the lid is closed, the opposite end of the cable has a loop and pressed fitting . The cable is rated at 4,200 pounds and comes included with a nylon storage case.
A high security barrel key lock with two keys are provides, this is our premium lock and features a case hardened body which makes it nearly impossible to drill out, additional keys available. The case also has a heavy duty molded handle with nylon enforcement, finish is a commercial grade silver vein which will provide exceptional durability.

Triple Guard Lock System - Enhanced Security
The Console Vault Security Briefcase has recently been upgraded with the "Triple Guard Lock System" which incorporates a latch design like the pins in bank vault doors which greatly increases overall security.
This design also includes a front channel which incorporates the lid into the body of the vault, the concept also eliminates all stress off the physical lock itself.
 
The Security Briefcase also features a superior 3-point locking system which resists prying, even if the lock is drilled out. This is a very important feature that is specifically incorporated to address a thief with a screwdriver and a little bit of time.
Another security construction feature of the Security is that it includes bank vault style rear locking hinge latch pins. This feature is also included to make the security briefcase pry resistant.
The lid of the Security Briefcase also features a perfectly balanced spring assisted lid which makes the 12-gauge steel lid easy to lift open.
Console Vault Truck Safe Finish
The Console Vault Security Briefcase is finished in the factory with an industrial grade, high-quality powder coat finish that looks like paint, but acts like armor. For those who are unfamiliar with the powder coating, it is basically a dry finishing process used to apply paint to metal surfaces. The Security Briefcase is then placed into a curing oven and the covered with finely ground dry powder of colored pigment and resin.
 While inside the oven, the Security Briefcase is electro-statically charged. This process causes the powder sprayed on the vault to melt and fuse into a solid coating on all of the vault's metal surfaces. The end result is a tough, good looking, scratch resistant finish.
