Built-In Removable Security Cable Locks Briefcase to Secure Object
Other than the strength of the security briefcase, the security briefcase's built-in 30,000 pound test strength tether cable is its 2nd highly desirable feature. This feature is specifically designed so the security briefcase can be attached securely to virtually any fixed object.
The tether cable is a seperate cable that is attached when needed. Simply place the end of the cable inside the safe and slide the end into the notch in the side of the steel plate.
When the cable is not in use, it can be carried inside the security briefcase and used when needed.

Console Vault Truck Safe Finish
The Console Vault Security Briefcase is finished in the factory with an industrial grade, high-quality powder coat finish that looks like paint, but acts like armor. For those who are unfamiliar with the powder coating, it is basically a dry finishing process used to apply paint to metal surfaces. The Security Briefcase is then placed into a curing oven and the covered with finely ground dry powder of colored pigment and resin.
 While inside the oven, the Security Briefcase is electro-statically charged. This process causes the powder sprayed on the vault to melt and fuse into a solid coating on all of the vault's metal surfaces. The end result is a tough, good looking, scratch resistant finish.
