The Lock Alarm is an innovative, portable device suitable for securing virtually any large items from theft when left alone. The Lock Alarm is an additional layer of security that provides peace of mind in protecting larger items from theft.
The Lock/Alarm XT is similar to the other versions of the Lock Alarm that we sell, with the only difference being that this version has a double thickness 1/3" (8mm) in diameter cable, thus offering an even higher level of security for your valuable equipment. The Lock/Alarm XT has the same 120 decibel siren as theLock Alarm so when an attempt is made to cut through the cable, or attack the main lock unit, the alarm will start screaming!
Compact and simple to use, the Lock/Alarm XT can provide 24 hour protection for valuables left unattended outside or stored in a shed, garage or outbuilding. It is also ideal for when you are on the move for securing equipment when in transit in the back of trucks or on trailers.
The Lock Alarm XT weighs just 500g (1.1lbs). The 1.3m (4ft) steel cable is plastic coated to avoid scratches to your possessions. When not in use the cable can be wound neatly around the main unit and clamped tight.
The Lock Alarm XT operates using a 9 Volt Alkaline battery which fits inside a tamper proof internal compartment and which will last for many months of use.
Suitable for use in all weathers and environments the Lock Alarm XT can be used freestanding or it can be anchored to a wall, post, side of a vehicle, or directly onto bicycles or machinery using the brackets supplied.
The Lock Alarm works similar to a bike lock, though if a thief tampers with the lock’s main unit or attempts to cut through its ultra hard, extra thick 4 foot long steel cable, a 120-decibel ear piercing alarm sounds.

Cable Specifications
The Lock Alarm XT has the highest security cable of the entire Lock Alarm line. The steel cable is extra thick and is 1/3" (8mm) in diameter, which is double the thickness when compared to the other Lock Alarm cable alarm lock. The heavy duty security cable extends to a length of 4 feet (1.3 meters) long. The cable is 3/8’ (4 mm) thick, and is plastic coated to avoid scratches to your valuable equipment. The cable itself is made from ultra-hard steel, specially constructed to help resist cutting and sawing. The cable security cable is coated in plastic and stores neatly around the Lock Alarm when not in use.
Should a potential thief somehow manage to cut through the cable or break the lock, the alarm will sound alerting others nearby. When not in use the cable can be wound neatly around the main unit and clamped tight.
120 Decibel Alarm
The Lock Alarm has been rated at an ear piercing 120 decibels with operates using (1) 9-volt alkaline battery (not included). Once activated, the Lock Alarm provides 24/7 protection for approximately 85 days (three months), before the battery needs replacement.
If the alarm is activated, it will sound for over 5 hours continually before the battery needs replacing. The Lock Alarm’s battery is secured inside a tamper proof internal compartment.

Permanent Brackets Included
The Lock Alarm is typically used freestanding, however it includes a permanent mounting bracket which allows it to be anchored to a wall, post, side of a vehicle, or directly onto a bicycle or machinery.
The main lock unit can mount to any flat surface or tubular section using the supplied brackets.
How to Operate
Pass the cable through your helmet, jacket, motorcycle wheel, or whatever else you want to lock up, then secure it to a solid stationary object, secure the lock with one of two included keys, and relax.
