Slash Proof Shoulder/ Waist Strap
The MetroSafe 100 by PacSafe has two slash-proof, flexible stainless steel wires embedded into the shoulder strap.
These flexible steel wire are hidden within the fabric strap and are designed to prevent bag cutters from cutting your strap from the rear and running away with your bag.
Additionally, these steel cables are woven into the body of the bag for added support and strength.
eXomesh Anti Slash Panel
The MetroSafe 100 features a concealed, slash/tamper proof front guard (Exomesh steel mesh) which protects the bag’s front compartment from bag slashing.
Woven and fused between the layers of the 1200 Nylon Denier is a slash-proof wire reinforced mesh called “eXomesh”, which provides a core protective cell.
The eXomesh technology uses a combination of lightweight, flexible, high tensile 1.5 mm stainless steel cable and crimps to create a slash-proof core around the MetroSafe 100.
Tamper-proof Zippers
The MetroSafe 100 features tamperproof zippers which keeps unwanted fingers from opening your bag.
The ZipSafe feature is employed by clipping one or both zippers pulls onto the adjacent press clip so they can't be unknowingly pulled open.
Snatchproof Shoulder Strap
If you wish to take the MetroSafe 100 off and place it next to you or around the back/arm of a chair, the MetroSafe's shoulder strap quickly detaches from one end, so it can be secured around a stationary object to discourage theft.
Metrosafe 100 Organizational Features
In addition to wearing versatility, the MetroSafe 100 offers nine individual compartments to help keep your items sorted.
The overall pack has a zippered top which opens 11 inches across, and expands to about 6" wide and can hold a variety of items.This main zippered compartment can be secured with the tamperproof zipper clip.
Organizational Pockets of the Metrosafe 100
One padded pocket, designed to protect a cell phone, small camera, or other item. This compartment is approx. 5 inches deep by approx. 3 ½ inches wide.
This compartment can be further secured by a employing the Velcro security tab. Sewn into the top of the padded pocket is. a ½ by ½ permanent loop, where a key ring could be secured.
Two 4 inch deep by ¾ inch wide pocketsfor pens or a small flashlight.
One large inner pocket 9 ½ inches deep, by 6 inches wide and expands to approx. 6 inches.
Three credit card slots are on the inside wall of the large inner pocket. The credit card slots are approx. 3 x 3 inches; however each pocket can hold multiple cards.
Two medium size pockets. Each pocket is 6 inches deep, by 5 inches wide. These pockets expand to three inches.
A “key clip” is also inside the main compartment. The clip, which is made from high impact plastic, holds keys so they can be easily found.
One zippered compartment on the outside of MetroSafe100. The zippered compartment can hold items 4 ½ inches wide by 6 ½ inches tall. The front of this compartment has the slash guard "eXomesh" wireembedded into front panel to protect from aggressive pickpockets. Additionally, this zippered pocked can additionally secured with the “ZipSafe” clip. One mesh pocket for change of other small items is located inside the front pocket. The mesh pocket is 3 ½ wide by 3 inches deep and is ideal for loose change.
Wear your Metrosafe 100 as a Bag or Hip Pack or Belt Bag
The MetroSafe 100 strap adjusts from 29 inches to 51 inches so both petite or tall can wear the bag comfortably. The generous length of the strap allows almost anyone to wear it as a waist pack. Option remove the strap, and slide the bag onto your belt as a belt bag.

The MetroSafe 100 quickly converts easily to a waist pack by simply unclipping the strap and threading it through the sleeve on the back of the pack.
The removable security straps clips onto the bag sides to use as a shoulder bag.
When worn across the shoulder, or around the waist, the MetroSafe 100 slash-proof strap is completely adjustable.
Pack Construction
The outside of the MetroSafe is constructed from a durable 1200 Nylon Denier Nylon, which is similar to that which flexible camera cases are made from. The material is strong, resists stains, and is easy to clean with simple warm water and mild detergent, and air dries.

Headphone Port
The MetroSafe 100 also features a headphone port hidden into rear logo of the bag.
The headphone port is made of a soft rubber gasket that allows the headphones to be poked thru the gasket.
