No part of the Titan is cut, drilled, modified, or damaged in any way. 

Existing factory console bolts are removed and replaced. Leased vehicles are not damaged in any way, and will returned to the dealer in their original condition.

Each Nissan Titan Console Vault is finished in the factory with an industrial grade, high-quality powder coat finish that looks like paint, but  acts like armor.   For those who are unfamiliar with the powder coating, it is basically a dry finishing process used to apply paint to metal surfaces. The Console Vault is then placed into a curing oven and the covered with finely ground dry powder of colored pigment and resin. 

While inside the oven, the Console Vault is electro-statically charged, which causes the powder to melt and fuse into a solid coating on all of the vault's metal surfaces.  It is tough, looks great, and is scratch resistant.

How to Install the Nissan Tital Console Vault
 
Since the Nissan Titan Console Vault is made to fit into Titan's center console, the installation involves removing using the existing factory console bolts.  To install, simply remove the  factory screws from the front area of the console.  Slide the new Titan Console Vault into the existing console tub, and re-screw the bolts you removed originally.

Once your replace the screws, the Titan Console Vault is now securely mounted to your vehicle’s metal body.  That’s it!  In 10 to 15 minutes your Nissan Titan Console Safe is in stalled and providing security for your valuables.
