The PacSafe 55, is a simple and secure system. The PacSafe 55 guards your gear in times when you can’t. Designed to secure small backpacks and gear bags, It is perfect for dormitories, hostels, trains, buses, ferries, airport transit, or camping, wherever you may need to leave your bag unattended for any period of time.
Constructed of high tensile, flexible stainless steel wire mesh, this device is designed to surround your bag like an envelop so that it is safe from sly hands and slash and grab thieves. Additionally, the bag security system has a stainless steel cable which can be looped around a secure fixture to effectively lock your backpack or luggage to it. Amazingly light for the protection it brings: less than 1 1/2 pounds.

Pacsafe 55 Additional Features
All Pacsafe backpack and bag protectors are made from slash-proof, high-tensile stainless steel wire fastened with unique stainless steel joining clips. The mesh is strong, flexible, light and weather-proof so you need not worry about corrosion.
The unique eXomesh design locking device, featuring steel reinforced, impact resistant polycarbonate is made from the same laminate used in bulletproof glass. The draw wire is 4mm, and made from high tensile stainless. Used together, the draw-wire allows users to lock the eXomesh protective cell in place around immovable objects, in effect creating a tamper-proof cage for valuable items wherever you are.
Made from the same tough, polycarbonate as the locking device, each locking bead offers variable tension adjustment, allowing the high-tensile stainless steel draw wire to secure almost any pack size and load.
The unique colored positioning disc helps provide trouble-free fitting and removal every time. Simply locate it at the top center of the backpack , and the rest falls into place.
Pacsafe products are not limited to holding luggage. They can also hold loose gear such as boots, sleeping bags, tents, fishing gear and food. They can even expand the size of packs by allowing other items to be secured to the outside.
All Pacsafe products are backed by a lifetime warranty.
If the integrity of either the wire netting, draw wire or the locking device is compromised due to faulty workmanship or materials, Outpac Designs, Inc. will replace the product with a new product or credit the customer's account. The warranty is primarily for the integrity of the wire, wire joining clips and the polycarbonate locking device only.
After use, kinks and burrs in the wire or netting are not considered defects. Cut or broken wire from wear and tear is not covered by the warranty.
