Organizational Features

The interior of the 9 pocket  security travel purse features 2 internal oversized, open pockets for larger items and 1 drop-in pocket to hold smaller items. The original internal swivel-clip (on a leash in the main compartment) has two functions, it can be a key holder or you can use it to lock the top zipper closed, so only you can open your bag. This is a great feature for crowded tourist locations where pickpockets prey on visitors. 

Main Compartment

The 9 Pocket Security Purse has an overall capacity that exceed most travel purses. 

The following are the compartments contained within the main compartment.

Main Zippered Compartment - General

Inside the main compartment are several other sub-compartments; however the main compartment is designed to accommodate a variety of larger items such as pouchable rain coats, cameras, guide books and other larger essentials.

Secondary Zippered Compartment

Inside the main compartment is a second largest internal compartment.  It is sewn into the side of the main compartment and features dual zippers, again another great, but overlooked feature to accommodate left and right handers. 

The zippered opening of this compartment is 8 inches long and holds items 8 inches tall by 12 inches wide.

Main Pocket Open Pockets (2)

Built into the other side of the purse’s main compartment are (2) large open pockets.  These generously sized pockets are each 6 ½ inches deep and 6 inches wide.

Internal End Pockets

Built into each end panel of the security purse are open style end pockets.  These pockets are great for hold cell phones, small umbrellas, pill containers or other medium sized items.  The dimensions of these pockets are 3 ½ inches deep by 3 inches wide.  Of course they will accommodate items taller than 3 inches.  These pockets will hold items 8 ½ inches tall.

Large External Zippered Pocket

Located on the back of the 9 pocket security purse is a large single zipper pull compartment.  The pocket features an 11 ½ inch opening.  It holds items 9 inches tall by 12 inches wide.  This is a great pocket for larger, odd sized maps or guide books.

Internal Key Clip

Sewn onto the outside zippered pocket is a key clip.  This key clip is permanently sewn onto a 7 inch long leach with a metal carabineer type key clip.  This feature is designed to hold your keys so they can be quickly accessed when needed.

Large External Open Pocket with Snap Closure

Located on the other side of the 9 pocket security travel handbag is a large open pocket. This pocket is great for holding maps or other items that don’t demand the security provided with the other compartments.  This pocket is secured by a metal magnet.  The dimensions of this pocket are 8 inches tall by 11 inches wide.  Contained within this pocket is another internal pocket with a Velcro tab.  This pocket is 6 ½ inches tall by 5 inches wide.

Side End Open Pocket (1)

Located on one end of the 9 pocket security purse is an open end pocket.  This pocket is designed for an umbrella or water bottle. 

The pocket dimensions are 7 inches tall by 5 inches wide.  Since the pocket in open at the top, it will accommodate items much taller.

Side End Flap Pocket (1)

Located on the other end of the purse is a pocket which has the same dimensions as the one before, expect that it has a Velcro flap cover to cover the pockets contents.

Inside Lining

The inside of all compartments are fully lined and are easy to clean with a damp cloth.

Slash Proof Security Shoulder Strap

The Slash/Snatch Proof Security Strap is designed as the purse’s last line of defense.  Some brazen street thieves (mostly in foreign countries) have been known to target the purses of international travelers, knowing that they contain items of value.  These young thieves have been documented to run up from behind and yank down on the purse, causing the strap to break.  To help prevent this, incorporated into the entire length of the strap are two steel cables that are attached into the body of the purse to add additional strength.

Additionally, these steel cables are also designed to prevent cut and run purse snatchers.   These are special type of street thieves who have known to stand behind someone with a regular non-security purse and cut the rear strap with scissors.  One the strap is cut and begins to fall from the shoulder, the thief grabs the purse and runs off.  The steel cables embedded into the strap will prevent this type of theft.

Fully Adjustable Strap with Non-Slip Cushion

The new and improved security shoulder strap offers both comfort and security.  The shoulder strap is 1 ¼ inch wide and is fully adjustable from 28” up to 48” long.  This extra length allows the security purse to be worn across your body if desired (this is the safest way to carry a shoulder bag, especially in crowded places).

Anti-Slip Shoulder Pad

The Anti-Slip shoulder pad is 6 inches long by 2 inches wide.  Sewn onto the underside is a cushioned, rubber pad which is designed to keep the shoulder strap on your shoulder.

   Zipper Lock

The main security feature of the 9 pocket security purse is the zipper lock.  This feature is specifically designed to keep out the hands of unwanted pickpockets and sneak thieves.   

The zipper lock is sewn onto a permanently sewn leash which is located inside the main compartment of the purse. 

When you want to lock the zippers of the security purse, you attach the two zipper sliders on the main compartment to the zipper lock, keeping the zippered compartment from being opened without your knowledge.
