The QuickPod/ComPod Slim is a cool little gadget and is the world's first extendable tripod that attaches to the bottom of your camera like a tripod, but it's actually an adjustable extension that lets you take a self-portrait from a comfortable distance away.
Small enough to fit in your pocket it allows you to take better "look-where-I-was" photos, which are a lot better than just pointing a camera at your face from arm's length and “hoping” you get a good shot.
Extending the camera distance between the camera lens and subject will create properly proportioned facial images and will diffuse the flash lighting when a flash is used.
The Quik Pod Pro ™ enables you to capture self-images and the background scenery that you wish to include. The finished photos and videos will appear to have been taken with the help of another person or by a traditional tripod. Your arm will be in a comfortable position and will not appear in the photo.

Simple to use
Put simply, the QuikPod/ComPod Slim is a light weight extendable mono-pod with a tilting head – a close cousin of the tripod which is so indispensable for photos taken with your camera’s self-timer. Using it is simple -
Just attach your camera (almost all models are supported) to the telescoping rod
Set the camera's self-timer, extend the quik pod to the desired position and hold it with your hand to capture the photo to be taken.
Wait till the camera's timer snaps the shot, and viola, the job’s done.
You can easily position yourself using the mini self-image mirror on the Quik Pod Pro ™. Keep your arm down and angle the QuikPod/ComPod Slim™ so the camera lens is at eye level. After a few times using the Quik Pod ™ it will require no effort to center yourself in your photos or videos.
