Protection ofExpensive Topiaries and Planters
Many customers have been frustrated by the theft of expensive topiary and planters from the front of homes or businesses, and their inability to provide anti-theft protection for these items, other than using an unsightly steel chain.
But now gardeners and retailers have a theft solution for the protection of topiaries and planters – the Lock Alarm. Simply secure the Lock Alarm clasp around the handle of your garden planters, or even around the stem of the plants.
Many times the owners of these topiaries use the leaves and vines to hide the Lock Alarm from view. Once the Siren Padlock Alarm is activated, the topiary or planter is protected. As soon as they are disturbed, the Siren Padlock's siren will sound. Depending on how well you camouflage the Alarm Lock, the “would be thief” won’t know where the alarm sound is coming from, or where is it linked up to, causing the “would-be thief” not to hang around to find out. How the Siren Padlock is Powered
The Alarm Lock is powered by 6 easy to replace button batteries which are included. The batteries are sealed in tamper-proof compartment which can only be accessed when lock is opened. With normal operations, the batteries should last approximately 6 months
Siren Padlock Operational Instructions
The Heavy Duty Alarm Siren Padlock contains both movement and shock sensors that couldn’t be easier to operate. You can choose between armed and unarmed with a simple twist of the wrist.
Once you decide how you want to use the lock (armed or unarmed), simply look a t the shackle and place it properly in the Siren Alarm Padlock. The shackle has a notch on both ends.
When you insert the shackle into the padlock, you’ll hear a single beep; this means the lock is armed.
If you want to use the lock without the alarm, simply turn the shackle around and there will not be a beep.
Once armed, if the padlock is moved or disturbed twice within the space of 5 seconds, a powerful 100dB two tone alarm will sound. The siren will continue for about 10 seconds and is a great deterrent to the would-be thief or opportunistic burglar so will put off all but the most determined. The padlock re-arms itself after about 10 seconds ready to deter the next person foolish enough to tamper with it, of course, if the movement continues, the siren also continues to sound! This new Alarm Lock design makes it very difficult for the alarm sound to be muffled.

The Alarm Padlock is weather resistant and designed to be used outdoors in rain, sleet, snow, or extreame heat. The lock is also corrosion resistant against salt water, so can be used in marine applications

To that account, the body of the Alarm Padlock has been robustly made with high quality, extra strong zinc alloy and steel, along with a high-grade stainless steel shackle, making the lock highly resistant to physical abuse and tampering.
