The surface of the portable seat cushion rises 1 1/2" from the rear and subtly slopes 5 degrees forward. More than other gel seat cushions.
This gentle and subtle slope in the cushion helps return your pelvis to its proper position which may reduce low-back pain and help maintain proper lumbar curvature.
Most ergonomically engineered chairs and seating pads do not address the point of contact — where the pressure is concentrated as your body sits on a chair.
This pressure leads to discomfort and fatigue. The GSeat Ultra has been purposely designed with a depression in the center of the cushion to eliminate contact pressure on the tailbone and soft tissue — relieving point-of-contact pressure, and reducing lower back pain inherent in long periods of sitting in an office chair, car, outside events, or anywhere at home.
This relief depression groove which is incorporated in the center of the cushion is perfect for those with Coccydynia - also known as tail bone pain, as well as those with hemorrhoids.
