The UltimateSafe 32L includes a PacSafe removable and lockable 20L mobile safe which is described further below,. Additionally, this bag also includes a separate and removable padded laptop / iPad / tablet sleeve which is designed to fit inside the 20L Safe insert. The removable and padded laptop sleeve is large enough to fit a 17" laptop.
The fully padded and protected part of the padded sleeve is 11 inches deep by 13 inches wide. However, the top of the sleeve has a 9 inch long by 4 inch wide padded Velcro tab lock, that keep the laptop / tablet from falling out of the sleeve. The inclusion of this padded tab allow the sleeve to hold an electronic item up to 16 inches tall, leaving the top 4 inches of the item being exposed from the top of sleeve.
On the outside of the laptop sleeve is a separate open top slide in pocket that is 13 inches deep and 8 inches wide.
Looks and Wears like a Regular Daypack
The bag looks like any other backpack and is purposely designed to camouflage its security features when worn in public. It is designed to be worn slung over one or both shoulders. Additionally, the pack can be carried by the vulcanized rubber handle at the top of the bag.
Adjustable Shoulder and Sternum Straps
The comfortable shoulder straps are padded and are woven into an over-the-shoulder harness. Additionally, the pack includes a sternum strap which keeps the pack snug to your body. All of the pack straps are adjustable. The shoulder straps feature a 1/2 thick foam padding, with an ergonomically soft touch edge.
This steel cable is long, and when pulled out, is designed to loop around a stationary object (such as inside a car trunk or to a piece of furniture in a hotel room) and then locks back onto the backpack, to keep it from being taken by a thief.
This locking system makes entry to the top of the bag virtually impossible, while allowing the bag to be secured to immovable objects.

Hotel Room Safe - When your room does not have one or is too small
Many business and leisure travelers take large laptops on the road, only to find that their hotel room does not have a safe, or the safe is too small to hold their large screen laptop. Other users like the fact that if they need to charge their laptop when the leave it behind in the portable safe, they can still charge it.
Even though the top of the portable safe is locked and secured with it cinched top closure, it will allow a charging cable to extrude thru the top of the bag.
Automobile Safe - Secure items of value in your car, truck, or commercial vehicle

Quick Release Strap Locks Your Bag Down to Prevent Quick Snatch & Grab Thefts
One of the shoulder straps of the bag features a quick release security clip. This clip allows one of the shoulder straps to be disconnected so it can then be secured to a chair or other fixed item and reconnected back onto the bag. This feature attaches your bag to an item so it can't be picked up and carried away. Using this feature is great while dining while dining at a sidewalk café .

Safe Includes Hardened Padlock
Each UltimateSafe 32L includes a hardened shackle steel padlock with three keys. The outside of the lock features a black matte plastic coating that protects items from scratches.
Slashproof CarrySafe Anti-Slash Straps
Slashproof CarrySafe Anti-Slash Straps are reinforced with a lightweight, flexible, high-tensile stainless steel wire which prevent opportunistic bag slashers from slicing through your bag strap and running off with your gear. The steel anti-theft cables are embedded into the entire length of both shoulder straps, but do not impact their adjust-ability.
Smart ‘Turn & Lock’ Hooks
These small smart devices pack a whole lot of intelligence. The Turn & Lock Anti-snatching hook allows you to secure one of the bag's shoulder straps to a secure fixture, be it the leg of a table or around a palm at a beach. Smart Zipper Security™
This bag includes concealed zipper clips that secure both of the bag's main and front organizational compartments. Organizational Features
Front Organizer Pocket
Located on the outside of the UltimateSafe 32L is a zippered organizational compartment which allows you quick access to frequently needed items such as maps, guidebooks, and other items.
An external zipper security catch is mounted on a tension strap which secures the zipper of the outside compartment. This zipper security feature prevents thieves from unzipping this compartment from behind without your knowledge. The front organizer pocket is 14 inches deep and 10 inches wide.
Inside the front organizer pocket, the following additional storage compartment include:
- (1) Large size slide in pocket: 7 inches deep, 9 1/2 inches wide - with Velcro tab closure
- (3) Medium size side in pocket: 5 inches deep by 4 inches wide
- (1) Medium size RFID blocking pocket for passport and credit card data protection: 5 inches deep by 4 inches wide.

External Organizational Features:
- (2) external side elasticized pockets, which are designed to hold 2 water bottles or small umbrellas
- (1) padded zippered pocket waist belt pocket which is sewn embedded into one side of the waist belt. The pocket is 5 1/2 inches long by 4 inches wide. The zipper of this pocket features a
"zip away" feature, which allows the zipper pull to be hidden from view. This is a great "quick access" pocket for securing your smartphone, or other similar sized item.
- MP3 / Cell phone Headphone Port - allows your electronics to stay safe, while only exposing your headphones. This port is located near the top of the main compartment, adjacent to the top of the shoulder strap. This headphone port provides direct access into the bag's main compartment, so you can securely house your iPhone, iPod, or MP3 player securely into the backpack, with only exposing your headphones. This is a another great crime prevention feature due to an increase in iPhone, iPod thefts from people listing to music.
Comfort Design and Material
The back of the UltimateSafe 32L (side which rests against your back when worn as a backpack) was built for comfort when worn as a backpack or simply slung over one shoulder. It back of the backpack features 28 individual 3 inch by 3 inch thick comfort foam cells which are designed to rest on a person's back's main pressure points.
These "comfort cells" are covered in a breathable cotton/nylon material which are embedded with with "air wicking" material which help disperse moisture (sweat) when the backpack is worn for long periods or time, or in hot and humid areas.
The security backpack also features a built-in, fully adjustable, front lumbar waist band, which features a compression belt buckle. The waist band is fully adjustable for waist sizes from 28 inches to a full 49 inches. Of course compression belt buckle does not have to be secured to wear the backpack.
To aid in the comfort of the bag when worn around the waist, on each side of the waist band are individual 7 1/2 inch by 4 inch tall, padded comfort waist pads. These comfort waist pads are designed so that the weight of waist pack is distributed across both pads, eliminating uncomfortable waist band web belt "dig" common on less expensive backpacks.
