The Universal Console Vault was designed with bank vault technology in order to help protect its contents.  The Universal Console Vault is the only mobile safe on the market that features a unique three-point, high-security lock system that cannot be defeated, even if drilled. • Vault is made from massive 12-gauge, cold rolled plate steel and engineered like nothing else in the industry.
• All joints of the Console Vault feature welded tab and notch seams which creates a fortress for your valuables.
• Rear locking hinge pins, just like the ones used on bank vault doors.
• Exclusive three point locking system that resists prying even if the lock is drilled out.
• Perfectly balanced spring assisted lid which makes the 12-gauge steel lid easy to lift open.

High Quality Lock Security  

Each Universal Console Vault includes the following lock security features: 

• High security barrel lock – with a dimple key design makes key duplication nearly impossible
• Includes two security vault dimple keys (difficult to copy or pick).
• Exclusive lock cam prevents entry to Console Vault if lock is drilled.
• Bank vault style locking pins just like the ones used on the bank vault doors.

Interior Console Vault Features 

The interior of the Universal Console Vault is generously sized to accommodate items in various sizes and shapes.  Additionally, the Console Vault includes a storage shelf for smaller items, along with a fabric-foam based liner.  

Console Vault Finish

Each Universal Console Vault is finished in the factory with an industrial grade, high-quality powder coat finish that looks like paint, but  acts like armor.   For those who are unfamiliar with the powder coating, it is basically a dry finishing process used to apply paint to metal surfaces. The Console Vault is then placed into a curing oven and the covered with finely ground dry powder of colored pigment and resin. 

While inside the oven, the Universal Console Vault is electro-statically charged, which causes the powder to melt and fuse into a solid coating on all of the vault's metal surfaces.  It is tough, looks great, and is scratch resistant.   

The Cloak-- Covers the Universal Vault from view

The Cloak is used in conjunction with the Universal Console Vault. Simply mount the universal vault on the transmission tunnel or in a location of your choice. Once mounted, simply place the "Cloak" on top of the vault and the vault disappears!  

Made of 16 gauge steel with a pin latch in the rear for fast removal with the touch of a button exposing the Universal Console Vault.  

The Cloak holds two drinks plus a storage tray. It is coated with an industrial black powder coat. Both the tray and cup base are foam lined.

How to Install the Universal Console Vault
The Universal Console Vault is designed to be mounted on any flat surface which can be drilled to accept two bolts.  Simply drill any flat metal surface, place the Universal Console Vault over the drilled holes, and attach with appropriate screws ( not included).
