The buckle on the PacSafe Venturesafe 100 is concealed by a side flap. Flap seals closed with Velcro.

Tamperproof Zipper Clips

Security Zippers The VentureSafe 10 features a unique zipper locking system.
Two carabiner type zipper locks secure the outside exposed zippers of the the two external accessed pockets. This "must have feature" is designed to stop pickpockets and sneak thieves so they cannot unzip the compartments without your knowledge.
While these zipper security clips make it hard for a thief to get into the pockets, you know how they operate to quickly them when needed.
The yellow and black bands located on the lower portion of the security zipper clips are removeable if desired, however they are included so you can quickly find the clips in low light conditions.
