US Navy
The US Navy Experimental Diving Unit conducted submergence, thrash, and pull tests on the ALOKSAK bags. After this rigorous testing, the passed all the required tests and were subsequently approved by the U.S. Navy to be leak-proof for long-term submersion to depths exceeding 190 feet.
Scuba Schools International SSI (formerly National Assn of Scuba Diving Schools - NASDS)
SSI certified ALOKSAK bags as waterproof to depths exceeding 200 feet (60 meters). Their pressure chamber testing resulted in the ALOKSAK bags remaining under constant pressure of 200 SFWfor two weeks without leaks.
North American Fishing Club
The NAFC approved ALOKSAK bags as waterproof after being diversely tested by a selection of 35 individuals under a variety of circumstances.

LokSak Bag Material
The ALOKSAK waterproof bags by LokSak are made of a patented, super-stretch, high-tenacity 6 millimeter film polymer to deliver extremely puncture-resistant and element-proof storage.
The bag’s strong 6mm film is on par with PVC of the same thickness in terms of durability, but has a lower cold-crack tolerance than that of PVC. The bags material is transparent so you can easily view the bags contents.
Easy-to-use closures are as simple as using a typical zip-closure type bag, but provide water-tight protection
These bags are ecologically smart due to it being highly reusable and made of 100% recyclable polyethylene.
