How it works
1. Decide whether you want the window to remain completely closed or allowed to be open slightly for ventilation. Select placement location accordingly. To allow for ventilation choose a spot only a few inches back.
2. Peel off the paper off the bottom, to expose adhesive strip.
3. Place on stationary panel of window or sliding door with the tapered end of the wedge facing the moving panel.
This item is best suited for windows or sliding doors you wish to keep closed or only open a small amount for ventilation. Not recommended for windows which you frequently change the amount they are open, as the swege will constantly have to be repositioned weakening the adhesive contact.
The Window stop is just like it partner, theDoor Swege , but smaller, It is designed to prevent any attempt to open sliding-glass doors and windows. It resists up to 400 lbs of force. If a burglar attempts to open a sliding glass door or window secured by the Swege, the Swege will stop the attempt and sound a loud 120 decibel alarm for 5 seconds, loud and long enough to alert you to an attempted and entry, and to scare the criminal away. The alarm continually sounds up to one hour if the pressure is not released. Once the pressure is released, the alarm resets itself to sound when force is reapplied.
