Security Waist Belt Security Features:

The number one security feature, which is unique to Pacsafe is that the rear strap which holds the money belt around your body looks like any other cloth strap. However, looks are deceiving. Sewn under the “Soft to Touch” material which covers the rear waist strap are not one, but two flexible stainless steel cables which reinforce the straps from being cut or ripped from the rear.

The main purpose of this is to combat professional thieves and pickpockets, who know travelers use waist walletsto carry llarge amounts of cash and valuables. Some of these thieves are so adept at their skill that they have been known to cut the rear strap of standard belts without traveler’s knowledge. Security Waist Belt Adjustability:
The belt is adjustable by means of the Pacsafe “Slide Lock.” The adjustment feature is made of high impact plastic which is covered in a very soft vinyl plastic. The entire adjustability feature soft, smooth features which do not cause undo rubbing against the skin. The Pacsafe security waist belt adjusts for waist sizes from 28-46 inches (71 to 116cm). 

Quick Release Concealed Buckle
The security waist belt is secured with a concealed, quick release buckle. The buckle is made of high impact plastic with rounded edges. The female end of the quick release buckle is sewn into the pack and secured with a nylon elastic strap which is sewn into the inside of the pack. This elastic security feature secures the quick release buckle into the pack so that it can only be unbuckled with your knowledge.

ZipSafe™Feature:
The front of each security waist wallet has two zippered compartments. These compartments have an additional security feature to keep the individual zippers locked-down and secured by means of the Pacsafe “ZipSafe™” security feature. This feature is a nylon, rip-stop tab that has a Velcro tab. This tab secures both zipper pulls from being opened without your knowledge, or from unzipping naturally (allowing the contents to fall out) from strenuous activity like running for a train, ferry, or bus.

Removable water resistant pocket
The Pacsafe Security Waist Wallet has another feature not found on other money belts. Inside one of the two security pockets is a removable, moisture-proof, flexible plastic liner. This liner is made of clear PVC plastic vinyl, which features a re-closeable, hard plastic zip-lock that helps keep out moisture. The water resistant pocket measures 6 ¾ inches wide by 3 ½ inches deep.

Outer material Construction
Pacsafe took further security measures into account during the manufacturing the Security Waist Wallet with 190T Ripstop nylon fabric, which is one of the toughest rip-stop nylons available in this thickness. The manufacturing process of this pack also features smooth corners and seams to aid when being worn next to the skin. One of the most important comfort features is the backing of the security waist wallet. It features a soft, breathable, honeycomb-like backing that allows the material to breathe, thus allowing any body moisture that that accumulates between the wallet and the skin to quickly evaporate. Under the honeycomb material is a layer of thin form which allows for additional comfort against the skin. Both of these features may seem minor, but will not usually be found on other security wallets. This could be very important when someone is wearing the security waist wallet for a long period of time.

Compartments
The Pacsafe Security Waist Wallet has two zippered security compartments. The top compartmen tmeasures 10 inches long by 5 inches deep. Additionally, inside this compartment is another separate pocket. This could be used to hold change, or rolled up currency or keys. This compartment is 3 inches wide by 5 inches deep. The second outside compartment is also 10 inches wide, but 4 inches deep (one inch shorter than the top compartment). Both of these compartment can be used to carry varies items such as currency, passports, airline/train tickets, or other valuable documents. Llarger items can be carried by simply folding them over.
